Camry 2000 - Fan works only at max

This is for my Camry 2000 4 cyl 95k miles...

Today, my fan stopped working at all speeds except the max one. Switching on AC did not make any difference. What could be the reason?

Could weather be the cause? Today the temp in NY was around 30s....after being in the 50s-60s till yesterday.

I also came across the below post from another website.

-----------------------------------------------------------

The problem is probably not the fan switch but the heater blower resistor, check it first, remove it to check to see if part of it is burned out, it should be located in the air ducting under the glove compartment, the glove compartment may have to be removed to find it, it's attached with either one or two small screws and has an electrical connector with a bunch of wires.

Yes, typically if only high speed works the problem is the resistor pack.
