Crazy Canadians...

Haha...I'm doing a motor swap right now (EXCESSIVE blow-by = piston rings done for = low compression = 1.5L of oil dripping out of my air filter in 900km = time for a new motor) and my car has thicker snow on it than ppl who are claiming pics of their "cars in the snow" (some of it melted, but there was like, 3" of snow and ice on the roof before")

after 2 hours of work, almost ready to pull the motor out, just need to finish things like axles, exhaust, fluids, hopefully picking up a motor tomorrow if the forecasted snow storm doesn't close down southern ontario

:drinking:

Wow, your Camry is looking just like mine, and on a hoist too, and in a shop, and also getting a motor dropped in! Like right now! LOL

yah....same here...by the end of the weekend, we're expecting about 50cm of snow...going to be fun since I'm going to try and lower the front of my car more again

and I'll let ppl know how it goes! I'm shooting for all said and done by sun night, but we'll see...depends on if the engine comes with a cut harness or not, the condition of the timing belt, etc.

Nice, What motor are you putting in her? It is better to do the swap yourself, because most shops will mess up something. Sunday Night! Good luck

Haa your front bumper will act like a plow, that is why I took my Evo 4 Bumper off. (Doing custom fiberglass to it and hopefully some Carbon Fiber:P but that is when it gets warmer)

dude, lucky you...at least you have a garage. I am also doing a swap right now, except everything that I need to work on is outside, and it has been snowing here in Colorado for like 2 weeks now. Its like -10* and I can't do anything lol. What sucks even worse is that my california home has my engine hoist and stand and I have an entire bay to myself to work on my car. Here, I have to do it in the back of my house on bad pavement at -10* lol... My poor car probably misses its motor.

Wishin I had a shop with a lift right now to myself.... lol

so you fried your rings?
