Hey guys, I just got done painting my car (took awhile to do myself but I got it done!) but its one project to the next and I was wondering if anyone new how to replace the window trim. Mine is cracking I guess because of the sun always hitting one side of the car but I was wondering how to fix it so here are some pics of the damage....
Do I have to replace that whole piece or is there a quick fix kind of solution. Thanks guys
I actually had the same question. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove this trim so I can just get to the chrome?? I just want to be careful not to get to close to the body of the car, no one wants scratched paint. Sorry for bringing up an old thread, just saw that this was exactly what my car was going through: Driver side perfect and passenger side cracking.....
My trim is doing the same thing. I was thinking about just using spray on truck bed liner.
OMG... I just saw your avatar... What brand/size of fog lights do you have? Will it fit the stock front bumper/holes for fogs? or do you have a diff. front bumper? and your headlamps... i love! Kudos.... on that sexy look.

LOL, thanks. The fogs are from a 99 Oldsmobile Alero. I have a stock bumper, and cut the openings just enough to fit the fogs. I had to cut off part of the bars going across the openings for the trim, and make a small "C-notch" at the bottom of each opening for the actual body of each fog. I got the idea from fellow TN'er bigbird who has them on his gen3. He was the 1st to do this mod. The Alero fogs fit just fine in either gen3 (92-94) or gen3.5 (95-96) bumpers. However, IMO I think they look, and fit better on the gen3.5.

Wow, I never thought of the truck bed liner.... I am actually going to give that a try when I get back into my home town in about 5 weeks for summer. Ill post pictures when I am done with the final product.
