So i was looking in to putting a v6 in my 99 camry. i have found in some diffrent places used and new 99 camry v6 if i got the same year would this help the swap? and also what all is needed for this swap that i might nit have off the parts of my i4 and the v6 i get. very new to the engine swaping biz so bare with me and im not doing the swap my self lol no way not that car savvy yet.
if your not doing the swap...just buy a V6 camry. you will be chaerged out the ass for a swap like that. but the easiest way would be to just get an entire V6 on the subframe with tranny and all.
so it would be 4k for the hole thing? what about a turbo or super charger for my I4 would that give me a good bost like the swap and how much would that run me back?

If you're not doing the work, it will be all custom and probably run about the same.
im guessing a super charger will be the same. and has any one used one fo the $400 turbo kits at yourhotcar.com that looks like a fan straped on you intake pipe it says it will add 15hp are they a rip off or what? and any idead to bost my power for a littel bit cheaper lol
im with asg. ya gotta search man, your asking about 5 threads worth of question that have been asked a ton. thre are no turbo kits, suprecharger kits, cheap power, easy power.
ok i know i need to use the search but what do you think of this set up? i know its not every thing like a mr2 maniflod and the chips so my car wont freak but is this a good starter set?
have you hurd any thing good about the intake turbos? i already have a intake and i think i will just forget about this because it will cost way to much to get a turbo on this thing i would need some real cash to do that to it i will just get a fast car after i get out of high school and collage. i will just go back to working on body work and losing some of the cars extra pounds. But the turbo intake just seems to good to be true. I would really like to hear about it tho if any one knows any thing about them
