You can mount the Sub box and Sub Amp in the trunk. The Power (4 Gauge) cable can be run down the left (driver's side) under the floor door panel. This power cable MUST run directly to the BATTERY, NOT FUSE. Under the drivers dashboard brake area, you will locate a semi-cutout for the clutch, if it had one. Punch through this area to get to the engine area. Run cable. Run RCA cable on the other side of the car...passenger side. This will separate your RCA from Power cables. Thus reducing noise.

Good luck...

what gen do you have? 3 or 4? if you have a gen 3 all you really have to do to get the wires to the trunk is pull up the bottom of the rear seat. its 3 taps that snap into the body, thats all. then you have good room to run them. and run them under the floor trim next to the doors. the panels just pull up. if you look at them you can figure out which ones to pull up first.

power goes on the driver side, everything else on the passenger side- reduces noise
power- to the battery; run its own fuse in-line to protect the amp and speakers incase of a spike
ground- to a nonpainted part on the chassis
rca- line in/out, or sub preamps if you have them, on back of headunit

Remember to place the fuse as close to the battery as possible (i.e. very short length of wire between battery and fuse). This offers the maximum protection, and minimum length of un-fused wire. I've seen too many people put the fuse in the trunk by the amp and I'm tired of yelling at them.

Everything else they've said is correct.

that is correct. thank you for adding that bit of info. fuse in the trunk can damage much of the wire if it spikes.
how big of a system are you adding? if your looking at about 1000+ watts then i would look into a capacitor and a yellow top optima as well.
and when you run the wire through the firewall, make sure you have a grommet around the hole. that way the insulation on the wire will not get cut. exposed wire can lead to a short and damage your system, and possibly anything else electrical on the car.
