should i be in good condition??

today i was driving to meet up some friends and when i got there, they were telling me one of my hids went out. i parked and checked and the right side was gone. 1 of my friends said he "knows alot" about cars and could fix it. thinking he wouldnt damage anything under the hood, i let him. apparently he was touching alota things under the hood and next thing i know, i saw sparks coming out of the battery. a shitload of sparks. i looked over and he disconnected the line that connects from positive terminal to a fuse to my audio and the part that is connected to the terminal was touching the battery!!!! after like 5 seconds he stopped it and i checked to see if my audio was working and it was. then i checked the headlights and now both of em went out. when i switched on high beam the left side came back and i told the guy not to touch my car anymore. why would he even disconnect that line when it has nothing to do with the headlights??? after about an hour of driving, the left side hids went out too. now when i try to turn on my headlights:
on the right side - i hear a click but no light at all
on the left side - i see the light trying to turn on, flickering, then turns off.

i just had to drive wit my highbeams+emergency light all the way home and luckly i didnt get pulled over.

good thing is, i still have warranty on the hids and im going to take it back to them tomorow to have it replaced. but what scares me is the battery. should it be okay?

the HID kit that i bought were 6000k by ALINE

He probably touched something, like a spanner from the positive terminal to the battery holder which is an earth/ground. This will caused sparks. I accidentally touched it when tighten the positive battery terminal nut and sparks flew, hell, my mate welded a oil dipstick to the battery that way (dipstick was really close to battery).

Can't help you out with the HID light problem.

sounds like it may be blown ballasts. check the headlight fuses? if you still have it, hook your FACTORY headlight bulb up the the factory harness and try the lights to see if they will light up. if they work you know its just the HIDs, if they dont...somthign else is fried. did the HIDs have a fuse built in line?

finally...NEVER trust anyone who says they know alot about cars...cuz they dont. they just think they do. especially if they are woking with wiring with the battery still connected.

hopefully. none of the wiring got fried. have your friend that "knows a lot" about cars pay for some of the damages.
