cv boot noise -___-

regular saftey check was done and found out that the passenger side cv boot was busted. i let the garage change it. 4 hours later i was riding and whenever im around 20 mph i hear a scratching/screeching noise on the passenger side. i took off my wheel and found no signs of rubbing or whatever. i also hear it when im taking a right turn.

what could be making this noise?

This is just a guess, but i think that CV shaft has gone out the window now. I reckon the boot has been ripped/torn long enough for most of the grease to come out and dust/dirt to get in.

he said the shop changed the boot.

my thoughts would be to check to make sure the thin metal brake shield/duct isn't bent and touching the rotor. you can always bend it a little further away from the back of the rotor without worrying about damaging antyhing.
