3rd Generation 93 Camry Dimming dash lights etc.

Is it normal for when my car is idling at say about 800 rpm, and I close my power windows up or anything like that all the dash lights and even the headlights somewhat as well. If I do more than one window at once it gets even dimmer. If I'm simply idling and I rev it up to say 1000 or 1200, everything gets a bit brighter. Any Ideas? I believe the alternator was changed a couple years back. On the other hand, is this normal?

I have replaced my car battery about 5 months ago, and I have a similar situation. While I use my power windows I do notice my dash lights and my head lights dim slightly. Other than this I do not notice anything electronically wrong with my car. I would recommend that you clean the heads of your battery, and maybe somehow check to see if your battery needs to be changed.

It;s normal, not an issue. Happened on my old '92 5SFE, happenes on my dad's '96 5SFE wagon, and happenes on my '96 1MZ-FE.

^ Other than cleaning the battery posts, is there any other things to look into? My dash lights dim pretty bad. Replace grounds? Get a thicker gauge wire for the ground?
