few quick questions

Test drove a 1994 Camry LE today with pretty much no options,and the whole time i was comparing it to my old 87 which isnt a really fair comparison but whatever
Just got a few quick little questions about the 3rd gens.

Are the heater controls supposed to light up ?
The 5sfe feels about the same as my 3sfe but a little smoother
at lower rpm's are there any huge differences between the 2 engines ?

The guy selling it wants 1700 hundred for this and its got 150,000 miles on it already but everything seems to work fine on it so far, im going to do a second test drive before I decide if i want it or not.
I may have more questions later

All of the lights that go with Air Conditioning are suppost to light up. There is a little power difference between the two, but other than that, they are pretty much the same. Also check to make sure the dome light works, and that there is no oil under the car. =s
And look at the wheels closely. I found a nail in my rear drivers side wheel soon after purchasing my car. xD Life lessons. :P

Suggest a TN search on buying a Camry. There have been several past threads covering specific items to check on this generation of Camry.

If auto trans make sure the fluid has been changed sometime in its life. You want red or reddish fluid not black.

Might do a quick pull of the valve cover to check for sludging issues. The top end should be free of sludge build up.
