the only thing to make it louder is gat another muffler, remove the resonator or build a larger catback.

Really? your car doesn't drone at 3.5k?

How is the magnaflow at 3k? I'm looking for a muffler, but since i do lots of hwy driving I cant have it drone on me all the time.

Please let me know, perhaps a video?

I've had 2 Magnaflows and both were too quiet for me. But yeah, do what bigbird said if it you want it louder (cat-back).

ya thanks for the responds. ya i like how it sounds and everything but after 3.5RPM you cant really hear it. so when i rev it up all u hear is the engine. so i was wondering if i get a catback built for it would that help? or i might get that N1 apexi universal that the other threads are talking about. thanks

It should help make it louder and less restrictive if that's what you want. I have the Apexi N1 universal on mine with 2.25" piping. I don't know if you saw my videos, but it sounds pretty deep and has a more aggressive tone at higher RPM's than the Magnaflows I had. It's loud and deep enough to set off car alarms in parking structures too. It drones at RPM's below 2.5K RPM's, especially when I'm going uphill or if I'm giving it more gas than I normally would. I start to hear the engine after 3K RPM's since I also have an intake. If I'm cruising at highway speeds at around 2.75-3K RPM's it drones a little but not enough to annoy me. I actually would prefer a louder exhaust but that's just me...

I have a decibel meter and if I recall correctly, it read ~90-91 decibels at 4500RPM's when measured ~4 feet away. The exhaust was deepest between 1.5-3K RPM's at that's when the decibels would rise like crazy. The setup I had before I installed the resonator was a little raspy at higher RPM's. I don't think that should be much of a concern for you though since you have a V6 and would probably get a resonator too.
