Whats a good price to sell the camry to a junkyard to?

The 1995 v6 camrys power steering is failing. I can hear a wierd noise in the engine bay which is assume is the power steering belt failing. The wheel is hard to move and sometimes power steering fails all together. Now i would try fixing the problem but I think my transmission might be faling. (the reverse in speicific)Plus my brother said he wants to get a nicer car, so ii just wanna get rid of it.

How much should i ask a junkyard for the camry?

Although more time consuming, you'd make more if you part it out.

I don't think you'd get more than $500 from a junkyard. Just call them and ask!

here in MA its $50-$175 cash.. they'll tow it and then strip it for parts and make tons of money. better off posting it on craigslist there is always someone looking for a car to fix. the doors alone would cost $150 each. like bigbird said its whatever they feel like giving you.. good luck

which side do you need.

I called a bunch of different yards and 500 was exactly what i was able to get.

I'm going to go post a camry part out thread and if i get more then 500 dollars worth of stuff sold, I'll part it out.

Alright i'll be blunt.
Engine-Perfect condition.
Tranny-Might be failing, who knows, drive works perfect, but the car jerks into reverse, reverse still works tho.
Paint-f-ed up, needs to be repainted
Interior-dashboard is brunt.

Now here is the thing, you could swap out the engine/tranny into your car. I mean this car has everything. Also you could easily swap the the rear disc brakes onto your camry and larger front discs.

I'll make a deal for anyone reading this. 125 bucks and i'll let any one of you guys swap over your bad i4 brakes for my v6 brakes AND i'll even give u the rims the camry is sitting on. They are oem 15 in lexus sc300 not chrome rims. no curb rash. You'll need them if your still riding on stealies.

The catch is. we will need to install your old i4 brakes on the v6. After all i am sending it to a junk yard and i need to drive it their. (or atleast put them on so that way the junkyard thinks the camry has everything on)

If someone is willing to swap over the engine and tranny over to their i4. I'll give u it all for 500. Engine, tranny, ecu, radiator, whatever. its a full clip basically.

JCamry94 in HB(i think your name is josh, am i right?) I would give you the camry but honestly i want to make a as much money as i can back from the camry. I need to buy some 97+ sc300/400 tail lights and focal k2 power component speakers. And that stuff isnt cheep.

If you want tho since i like you, i'll let u swap over the brake calipers and take my rims. for free. Well unless someone is going to pay me 125 for them. BTW the rims have brand new tires on them. They are 215 something r15

BTW jJCamry94 i have a weapon r cold air intake filter. If you want i'll give it to you for free.

Any chance of your posting a few pics of the exterior / interior? Just want to see what's on the chopping block.
