OEM rims off a different brand.. Camry or Solara
Hey guys,
My brother just picked up a gen 1 solara. We are looking to get new rims because one of the ones on his car is bent. As I have been searching on craigslist, I came up and saw honda element rims that look similar. I think they have the same bolt size 112 and offset 45, but I just went to discounttire.com and checked tire size compared to my 03 SE rims and they are the same except I think the element rim has a bigger tire on it usually.
Ill post the tire sizes anyway..
03 Toyota Camry SE - 215/60-16
03 Honda Element Rims- 215/70-16
It looks like the element rims have 10% taller tires. Its ok to put lower profile tires on them right? I would think so. Anyway, I am going to test fit them on the car and hopefully they will work good. If this wont work for sure, can someone tell me before I go and try it out. Thanks.
