2.2 5sfe parts interchange
I need a short block for a 99 Camry 2.2 5sfe I have a complete new cylinder head I traded for. Can I rebuild a 2.2 5sfe from a 92-96 Camry to use with my cylinder head? I would like to start with a fresh engine. I cant see paying outrages price for a used engine when i have seen so many come apart. Will the oil cooler on older engine work with 99 cooling system. I plan to remove the balance shafts and internally balance. Who sells a good rebuild kit. Any suggestions welcome I am in it for the long hall my last 94 camary 2.2 had 250 thousand when i sold and it still going.
