Pod Filter Help!

Hi,
I have recently picked up a 1992/1993 Toyota Camry Executive Wide Body.

I originally had a MY93 Subaru Impreza GX but unfortunatly some <BEEP> smashed in to me and ended up having it written off!

Well I had a K&N pod filter strapped on it (about 150KMs done on it).
I want to transfer it over to the camry but so far have come up stumps on how to connect it on to the intake pipe. I was just wondering if anyone has fitted one on?

Now before anyone goes off about putting it on. The main reason I want to put it on is because it is a washable one and have hardly used it on my old car. Also the fact I sometimes think my car has stalled because it is to quiet!

Any help would be appreciated (even pictures)

Also does anyone know where the location of the ECM unit is? On my subaru it was just before the air box where as on the camry it goes from the box to the engine with only an 'ASH Box' no electronics.

Obviously, it does not have an ECM, AFM, MAF, MAP e.t.c. Remember, all cars are different. It just means all you need is an adaptor to fit the 3" neck of the pod filter to whatever the diameter of the intake piping is.

Which means if you really want, you could take out all that piping and even put it right onto the intake manifold, before the throttle body.

With my gen2, i have an AFM meter. So i need an adaptor for that XD

Making connections for the vacuum lines and ATS is going to be the hardest part. One trick I know of is to remove the ATS grommet from the old air box and drill a hole in the piping(5/8" i think???), then install on the new piping. I had to do this on my paseo since the intake i ordered didn't have one. With any luck, your vacuum lines could be the same size as on the Subaru.
