4th Generation dead shocks

today i changed my sister's camry's shocks with KYB's and when i drove it the alignment was off to the right. what did i do wrong? i did the exact same thing with my celica. do i have to do an alignment? please give me some advice thanks

Its recommended that after doing anything major with suspension (on any car) you go get an alignment done.

really? my celica didnt need a alignment..oh yeah its off to the left not the right...do u think i can do the alignment myself? or should i get it done by the shop

bring it to a shop. same with your celica. it might seem like its fine but i'd get an alignment, just to make sure.

You can do an alignment yourself, but it won't be nearly as accurate as one done in a shop. They have a computer, laser sight crap that has it down to the 0.0x or 0.00x mm. Putting the fan on in the workshop changes these figures; that's how sensitive it is.

Yep ^^^ they're right. Always get an alignment even when it seems you don't need one.
