16 inch wheels on a 99 Camry V6?

I am looking to put some winter wheels on my 99 Camry V6. Factory rims are 15, I am running 205/65/15s. I have a lead on mounted, barely used Blizzaks but they are 215/65/16 on steel wheels.

Can I run 215/65/16 without the tires rubbing or other problems?

The wheels came from a Mustang do I need to check offset (what is that anyway?) or some other aspect to make sure they fit?

its all about offset:

ull need to know the offset to know for sure. what you want is somewhere around 32 to 45mm.

ok cool, thanks for the link makes sense. Now I think I understand spacers too - they increase the offset right?

so other than the speedometer difference, if I measure or find out the offset and it is within 32-45 mm, the tires/wheels should fit my Camry?
