ABS code 38?

I completed a diagnostic check on my 94 4 cyl ABS system and came up with a code 38. The two DTC charts I found on the forum are missing the code 38, one chart goes from 34-41 and the other from 37-41 (Possibly the wrong year or engine).

I also found a post where it was mentioned that ABS code 38 is an open circuit in the right rear sensor. Could someone confirm this please?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I had the same code on my '96. I replaced the sensor and the code cleared, but I've heard there are ways to clean them up and get 'em to work again.

You probably have a Bosch ABS system, that is where the code comes from. The other system is from Nippondenso, which doesn't have code 38.
