92 Camry suspension rattling

I have been lurking for a lil while now and gathering info to help solve my problem. But I'm gonna break down and ask questions. I have a 92 4dr camry with 115k miles on it. The engine runs great but its making rattling noises from the rear when I go over bumps and its been driving me MAD!

I did a search here and found that it is my strut and strut mounts. Last weekend I bought all new struts, springs, and mounts for my rear only and installed them. But to my surprise I still get that annoying rattling coming from the rear. WHAT THE HELL IS IT??

After further searching I just read it could be the sway bar links or mount bearings??? What the heck are these mount bearings and where do they go?? When I took my struts off last weekend I did not see anything that looked like a bearing that came from the strut mounts.
This noise is driving me insane!

Any help to solve this would be GREATLY appriciated.
Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that you don't mean mount BUSHINGS? Those are the rubber bushings that support the sway bar near the middle. The links are the rods that connect the sway bar to the struts.

I read it was the links. Could it be the bushings for the swaybar? Whatever it is I just wanna get it fixed before i drive it off a cliff. ha-ha.

Yeah when it's really cold outside my suspension on the front rattles like crazy. When it is warm outside though the rattling goes away. Me and my dad have discovered it is due to no rubber bushings when the previous owner installed all new suspension he never bothered to put in rubber bushings.

haha, I just took my car to a toyota parts mechanic to order in new struts for the rear of my car. they were rattling but only when i go over bumps. I know they need replacing because if I go over big bumps the rear falls into the bumps like crazy.

Do a search of the site, there are plenty of thread concerning noise from the rear suspension, sway bar bushings, and sway bar links.

Any more questions after you read through the threads, come back on post them.

So i had a mechanic look at it and he checked my rear shocks for proper install and they were good. he also checked my body mounts and they were also OK. After further inspection he said it was my rear wheel hub that was shot. He said it had pretty good play in it when he shook it with the tire on. So I bought a new one and installed it last weekend. Well,...... It still makes the noise.

Any other suggestions guys?
Am I missing some part in the rear struts that i dont know about?

Thanks in advance.

Try replacing the rear sway bar end links. They are a common cause of rattling noise in the rear. I'm suprised your mechanic didn't check your suspension. A bad wheel hub doesn't rattle.
