4th Generation Tail Light and Brake Light Flashing and Flickering

I recently cleaned my battery terminal posts with a solvent, and when I put them back on and drove around for a bit, I noticed the orange tail light and red handbrake light flickering at the same time. In fact there was varying degrees of brightness when they did light up (and they light it at the same time, not alternately), and then they would got back out again. Any ideas, or did I bugger something when I unhooked the battery?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Take Care,
Darren.

I'd just leave your battery disconnected for 5-10 minutes to reset your cars computers and reconnect the cables. If the problem persists then i would clean you battery cables and try it again.

It could be just a coincidence that you are low on brake fluid or one of your light bulbs in the rear end it gonna blow soon.
