I want to get really dark tint on my car. Like, where you really cant even see inside. Will I get a lot of tickets? I have 35% but i wanna go way dark.
I want to get 5% on the back window and 20 % on the others... Will that look alright? If not, probably 20% all around but i really would like to go darker.
Here in GA it's illegal to have tint that are lower than 32%. If you have like 20% and pass by a cop who just had a bad day, he'll pull you over and ticket you. If they catch you speeding, they'll slam you with two tickets.
N.C. window tint law:
-Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
-Front Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in.
-Back Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in.
-Rear Window Must allow more than 35% of light in.
it depends on your interior, but i wouldnt go lower than 20%.. i have 20% all around and it is hard to see at night if there are not a lot of street lamps..
if you have a dark interior, i would go 35% and stay legal. If you have a light interior, 20% will look ok
most people dont care about tint laws...here in california, there are law about tinting the driver and passenger window too dark but they do it anyways...so if you want just do it....just drive with your windows down...its always hot in cali..lol..
honestly it depends on where u live and ur race i live in la n i have limo in tha back n 20 in tha front i get follwed by cops all the time but i jus roll my windows down n they usually pass

It's not legal to tint the front windows at all in California, but like you said it doesn't stop anyone from doing it.
Yeah I haven't gotten any tint, but our standards are tougher than the south too
