^That looks cool.

I want to get 5% on the back window and 20 % on the others... Will that look alright? If not, probably 20% all around but i really would like to go darker.

Here in GA it's illegal to have tint that are lower than 32%. If you have like 20% and pass by a cop who just had a bad day, he'll pull you over and ticket you. If they catch you speeding, they'll slam you with two tickets.

N.C. window tint law:
-Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
-Front Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in.
-Back Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in.
-Rear Window Must allow more than 35% of light in.

I think that 5 is illegal in every state. You might get away with 20%. I would like to have 5%. More privacy!

Nope. In California, 5% is legal on the rear doors and windshield provided that there are two outside mirrors.

Personally, i wouldn't get 5% anyhow because it's nearly impossible to see out the back when backing up at night.

Sorry, my mistake. I forgot that there are a few states that will let you have any tint on the rear and back.

I currently have 35% right now, but I think that 20% will look better.

it depends on your interior, but i wouldnt go lower than 20%.. i have 20% all around and it is hard to see at night if there are not a lot of street lamps..

if you have a dark interior, i would go 35% and stay legal. If you have a light interior, 20% will look ok

It's not legal to tint the front windows at all in California, but like you said it doesn't stop anyone from doing it.

Yeah I haven't gotten any tint, but our standards are tougher than the south too

Windshield --- Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side Windows --- No tint can be applied legally to this window.
Back Side Windows --- Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Rear Window --- Must allow more than 35% of light in.
