You could carefully remove it and stretch it out so it doesn't sag, then staple or glue it in the stretched position.

That might be too much work and too messy though...

I've never done it, just the first thing that popped in my head.

You will have to remove headliner and replace the headliner cover.......It's pretty easy. The entire headliner comes out the front right passenger door. Then remove the old liner cover and clean surface...then spray adhesive on both the headliner and headliner cover.......let dry slightly until tacky feeling then place on headliner....... Let dry and replace....

Take your time and figure on about 5 hours or so and the lining about $35.00.. But it's better than spending approx $500.00.

Some people use T-pins or something to hold it up but to fix it correctly I think you need to remove the headliner and carefully remove the material. Then either clean the backer or make a new one. The old one needs to be clean if reused because you use a spray adhesive to reattach the material and it won't stick long if the backer is 'flaky' with old glue or whatever. I've used 3M adhesive successfully.

EDIT: I see Bigdog got his in first.

3rd Generation hmm

I had a leaking sunroof seal and after having it replaced I had a local upholstery guy re-upholster the liner with black leather. Total cost involved was $160 USD. I thought this was pretty reasonable. I wager your cost would be less if you chose fabric over hide. Of course cost varies by location. Just giving you a ballpark figure to expect if u wanted to go the professional route.
