If you have your car's manual, the 3-4 pages of the last of your car manual. it contains the specs of transmission fluid drain (how many qts you need) and also the number of quarts of engine oil, too. if you ever changed oil yourself, this info. of the last 3-4 pages are good info. about your car.

If you're doing a drain and refill most of it doesn't come out. On my 97 V6 it was about 2.5 quarts. I would drain it, put it in something like an old oil container so you can tell how much came out, and refill that amount.
