5sfe Flywheel Installation

I picked up a new flywheel to install when I change my clutch. Can these be bolted on in any position? I'm not sure if the flywheel affects engine balance on these engines. Anyone know?

As long as you have it facing the right way, it doesn't matter.

Make sure you torque the bolts in a star pattern.

Would you really need new bolts if the old ones aren't stripped or stretched?

no, but how would you know if they're stretched or not? it's not something that you can see

but by the same token, I HAD to reuse mine when I swapped my motor this xmas break because none of hte dealerships in Toronto had them, napa didn't carry them, part source didn't carry them, and canadian tire didn't carry them.

If you look online I'm sure you'll find them somewhere, but I needed them THAT day, and it was over christmas and boxing day.
