Can anyone help me out with trying to get rid of some of these marks and scuffs on the door panel?

thats not a scuff...thats a weird green thing attached to the trim.

just kidding. best way that worked for me was to either get VERY fine sand paper and sand down thoes spots but depending on condition of the trim that may only make it worse. painting the whole piece is an option but then it may not match the rest of the trim in the car. best over all solution is to chearch ebay or a junkyard for that piece. thats an uber common color and im sure you can fine one with little trouble.

you can also fill the gaps with thin amounts of nearly clear parrafin wax.
