95 camry stalls unless foot on gas

I have a 95 camry 4 cyl, recently it started to stall whenever I don't have my foot on the gas. It started during a big rain and snow storm. THere is a huge puddle in front of my house that is unavoidable. Also over the summer it had the same problem but after about two months it was fine. That occured after about 5 days of sitting in my driveway and it was a rainy week. It drives good until I take my foot off the gas then it stalls right out even if I am still going like 35 mph. Anyone know whats going on here? Thanks

Check the IAC, it might need cleaning.

The IAC is basically under the throttle body.

If cleaning the idle air control valve doesn't resolve the problem, I would next check the coil inside the distributor. You will need a digital volt/ohmeter and the specs from any manual to do this. There are manuals available for free downloading stickied at the top of the Camry forum over at AutomotiveForums.com.

Same thing happened to my '92. Had to keep it over 2k RPM's or it would stall. Turned out to be the EGR Valve stuck open.
