What is the lowest possible drop for a 99-01 Camry? I have a I-4 if that helps.
I've read through the suspension FAQ and it says Sprints are the lowest. And you can get them for $99. I've checked eBay and Sprints are no where to be found for the Gen 4.
At this point, the only springs I've found are the Tenzos.
Im looking for something at least 1.8 in" in the front and rear. Lower would be nice though.....
If you have the money, go for the Tein CO's. Good ride quality and you can slam it down if you want. I would get Tein's but I'm not allowed to spend any more on the car..
coilovers. thats the lowest drop. other then that tenzo springs.
and completely ignore what chris crash suggested. im assuming hes just being sarcastic.
No worries, i know the dangers of cutting springs.
at this point, spending around 1.5k on coilovers alone is outta the question. Im a student and have no job at the moment. I think Im going to buy the springs in the eBay link above.
thoes springs your about to buy arent the best quality. rolling on springs that low and likely fairly soft on OEM shocks will not only ware out the shocks but the springs as well. this happened to me with my sprints long ago. same drop and considered the same quality. i drove for way to long on OEM shocks and my ride wasnt great....just became worse and worse. i got the drop i wanted but i was bottoming out alot and would float alot. performance shocks, either KYB(slighter stiffer then OEM) or tokico(stiff) will prolong the life of the shock and spring as well as make the car rider better...less bound and rebound.

alrite. Thanks a LOT dude.
One last thing, if I bought TEIN springs which cost much more, would I still have to get new shocks or would the OEMs be sufficient?
personally id advise getting it all together, it makes install MUCH easier, even if the teins would be ok for a while without. getting thoes tenzos is fine as long as ya have some good shocks to go with them.
