Scariest day ever....Throttle body jammed open

Hey guys, today while I was driving, apparently a piece of rubber hose broke loose and jammed my throttle body open enough to send the rpms up to 6k.
Anyone know where I can get a reasonably cheap air intake hose? The dealer said something like 80 bucks for the hose. It has to be the scariest day of my life in the Camry and the first time it in a way broke down on me...

damn...you live in NY and this is the scariest day youve had.

best place is ebay or a junkyard.

wow...that would be...since you didn't say that you got into an accident, good reactions putting it into neutral once it happened

as for the hose, just go to pepboys and take a piece with you to compare. although all our hoses are metric, there are close sae sizes that will fit (albeit a bit tighter)

Yeah, lol, no accident, I was going about 20 mph about to turn on local streets and I felt it pulling forward, I slammed the brakes and put it in neutral then threw on the parking brake, kind of upset with myself for slamming the brakes though, made the worst noises =(, like extreme brake boosting

lol extreme brake boosting..

i bet its not as scary as having gasoline sprayed on you and your friends and car while your friend tries to start it up 12 in the morning. lesson learned: dont work on your car during the night/check everything.
stupid dummy broke the hard line that connects from the intake manifold to the fuel rail..cost me 120 at dealership but we went to my local junkyard and found one off a es300...for free of course

im sure there are alternatives at local auto parts stores rather than dealerships..
just search around and youll eventually find it.
