Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Sup Guys . Im new to the ToyotaNation scene, refered here from a decal I spotted on the freeway.
Saw the ToyotaNation.com Decal on a Gen3 Silver Camry on the freeway. Just wanted to find out who that was I saw today on the freeway. Saw the ToyotaNation.com Decal on the rear window and was wondering what kind of mods where on his car . That was a awesome run, mean your car, sounded like a beast.
Location is Honolulu Hawaii heading to town from Pearlridge area. Prob around 7pmish. Silver Gen3 Camry with exhaust, looked like a HID kit with Black housed headlamps, and a set of Fogs, and some rims.
I have the same Gen Camrya at home and would love to make a duplicate of what you where runnin. . Shoots
haha wow that was you? thanks for the compliments dude, yeah that run was fun . Nice Solara dude really wanted to pick on of those up someday.
well the Camry I have right now is a 93 LE i4. The only mods I have atm is the full cat back exhaust. 2.5" piping with a 3.5" Tip N1 Titanium Tipped, with a high flow resonator and cat. The lights are the Black Housing Depos with a 9006 6000k HID kit, and high output led side markers. The fogs where given to me by a friend, and am unsure of what they are. Pretty sure they shine around 4300k, kinda yellowish. Also got a Spectre full intake with a air ram that goes right up to the front of the bumper. Blacked out grill, NGK sparks, and those "rims" are actually 07 honda civic ones . Giving to by a friend.
If yeah want the decal get ahold a Eyeball he can hook yeah up with some .
Damn quick response. All that in there, never would have known. Pretty sick, I actually have a spare Apexi n1 at right now and want to throw it onto my Gen3 Camry. Do you have any pics that I could use for an example, and where did you go on the island to get it all done? That thing sounded freakin mean pullin on the freeway. Also for the headlights, can those be picked up locally? or is that all mailed in? So clean with those on and supprisingly bright too. And last the Spectre intake was that built for the car or was that custom made?
Haha wow thought those rims looked familiar. No worries dude they look awesome on the camry, Im sure the TN guys wont haze you for it.
Shoots thanks fo the help

The muffler is actually straight and it was all done by "The Muffler Man" he has a shop like 1 block from windward mall. Dont got the exact address atm, but it is really easy to find. The Black Housed Depo headlights I bought are from Ebay, not to sure if they sell them anymore on there. I would reccomend the new Retro Fit clear ones. http://depoautolights.com/toyota-cam...e666414d426790. They run for $375. The Spectre intake was kinda custom made and I bought all the parts from checkers for about around $40 if I remember correctly. It was pretty easy to get done and it makes a world of difference in engine sound imo.
Haha thanks for the comps on the Honda rims. Here da pics.
Always in town on the weekday, Goin UH and KCC. Gen3 look better in the dark imo just cause of how the lights are set up
Do you park at the structure in zone 20 at UH? I don't think I've seen your car around but I only park on the first or second floor usually.
I need to get me a TN decal! I've been saying that for a while, I know. I'll check out eyeball's sig in a bit. Anyway, don't be afraid to say hey if you see me. I'm one of the few gen 5.5 I4 LEs with an exhaust tip (Toyota OEM from a Highlander I think), always clean, and if you see me at night I've got LED license plate lights
EDIT: Alright, sent my payment for a pair of TN decals. This is the ONLY decal I'd ever put on my car - I don't really care for them especially because people tend to get carried away and put them all over their cars. I'm looking forward to getting these!

would be good to see more TN.com decals on the road. Should get them really fast from Eyeball, ordered 4 of them so far. Makes it a lot easier to spot people . I actually park near Mid Pac, dont really mind to walk. At KCC I always park in the lot near the caff.
Lots of people on the island seem to be getting LEDs now. Got them on my plates as well. Looks pretty cool to get High Output ones on side markers

Ah, I refuse to park my Camry on the street near UH.. I'm there 5 days a week and I work there so the semester parking pass is a good deal for me. And I only go to KCC to take pictures of my car when I'm bored , but I think I know where you're talking about.
You're right, a lot more people have LEDs now but so many of them are the crappy eBay kind. I had those but after a couple of months they started getting dim so I ordered new ones from superbrightleds.com and they're much much better. I did see a 200SX (which is really just a two door Sentra) with some wicked LEDs for his license plate - they were the perfect amount of white and very bright, like the newest Lexus models.
Anyway, I hope to get my TN decals soon. Will they ever come off if I wanted to remove them? I'm thinking about the corner of my back window or the small part of the rear passenger window..
