3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
1. Start it off with.. " My most regretted mod(s) ... "
2. Why?
-------------------------------------
My most regretted mods are:
- ASC sunroof/moonroof because it rattles like marbles..
- PIAA Deno LED fogs since it had piss-poor light output..piss poor i say!!
- Nokya Arctic white "HID" BULBS!!- epic fail, period.
- only regret on the coils is that i dont have helper springs because the valving is terribad - my next car will have either custom valving, or helper springs for sure! ive been in a bunch of other setups and the ones that come with helper springs make the car such a better DD without hurting handling too much
but since my car isnt heavily modded, i have few regrets ... SRI was worth every penny, cold cathode trunk light has been infinitely useful

1. Getting springs and struts (in a number of different combinations)
- Should have just gone coilovers the first time and saved myself the money
2. The thousands of dollars of car audio that I went through during my "big bump" phase
- Instead of being like all the other immature teenagers out there, I should have just gone with SQ in the first place instead of SPL unless I had planned on doing competition
Hmmm...otherwise, I think that's about it....though, I'm sure there's more that I can think of later on lol

^^ its okay to have bubble within the first 5 days if its cold...or 3 days if its warm weather. if they're still there.. bring it back to the shop! shett- u paid good moneys for that.

Almost all my windows had large bubbles during the first day, which eventually got worse. Right now the tint is peeling off. I brought it in multiple times and the manager kept saying to come back another time once the installer was at the shop (he also tried to sell me crap even though I told him all I came for was the tint). During my fifth visit or so, the manager eventually told me that the installer had left for Mexico and there was nothing else the shop could do. FYI: This place is called Mazz Autosport/Sound Waves in San Gabriel. I would file a complaint through the BBB but I no longer have the receipt.
ok had to think HARD about this one but i got it. i regret putting the custom dats style Y-pipe on my old gen4. i had to spend money to quiet it down, and fix leaks that NEVER got fixed. it sounded horrible, looked like shit. the worst part...im having to GIVE it away to get rid of it. worst mod ive ever done. i should have started from scratch with the JPP system.
