Smacked a deer tonight...pics included

Was driving home from playing cards tonight @ my friends house, and a baby deer jumped out in front of me but I was able to stop. I was going real slow after that and in about 50 yards another jumped in front but I wasn't as lucky. I was only going 20 or so, but it looks like I'll need a new bumper and corner headlight. The fender can be pulled out, it's not that badly hit.

Where would be the cheapest place to get a painted bumper? Ebay is around $245 shipped, and I already picked up a corner signal light for $19 shipped off eBay (here)

While I at it what's my best choice for fog lights? I don't want to spend a lot so the Aurora ones are probably out unless I can get them cheap.

Thanks guys.

Ugh, the joys of living where we do.........Glad to see it was not worse. My mom hit a baby deer 2.5 years go with her '05 Camry and cost around $5k.

For the bumper, get one from the junkyard that's the same color. www.car-part.com

As for fogs, the Olds ones look cool, but have almost 0 light output.

Unfortunately all of those used ones in the NY area are very far from me. I'm in the southern part of the state just north of NYC.

The black plastic piece behind the headlights that holds the headlights in place is destroyed also. Is it possible to buy that piece w/o buying a new headlight assembly?

I may seriously crazy glue the bumper back together, pull the fender out, and slap on the new corner piece that I bought and call it a day.

Door to door to Medford:
87.4 mi – about 1 hour 51 mins

Door to door to Corona
43.8 mi – with NYC traffic, AT LEAST 2 hours

Door to door to Massapequa
50 mi - 2 hours w/ traffic

I know they aren't too far, but for an extra $50 bucks or so I can get a BRAND new bumper painted and shipped

Thanks for all the info guys. It looks like I'll order the painted / shipped bumper for $245. By the time I get one from the junk yard and get it painted, it will be well over that. Plus the one on eBay is brand new.

Why did you smack a deer? Was it talking shit about your mother?

Obviously if you had taken the high road, that deer would not have come and vandalized your car later. I hope you press charges on him for the damage though.
