New Guy

Nice website guys,

I've been lurking here for a few days seems to be a great deal of info on the camry available.

I just picked up a 97 camry 4cyl from my wifes friend. Its a 1 owner with 155,000 miles on it but its in decent shape and runs well serviced at toyota its whole life including oil changes.

I spent a few hours this weekend going over it from top to bottom as it will be my new work beater........new battery, valve cover gasket and basic tune up items oil/air filter etc.

It has a couple scratches here and there but should be a great work car.

I also have a 06 tundra, my wife has a 09 corolla.

Here is a pic after I cleaned it up some

Its a LE "american edition" whatever that means? I think its gold badges and spoiler.......

I am selling my motorcycle and did not want to drive my tundra everyday to work gas prices going back up

Looks like a nice "work beater" to me. Sold my 97 last spring to my cousin with 200,000 miles on it and still going strong for him.

Welcome to TN!

Welcome!!!! I dunno wether it was just me, the angle of the pic, the lighting in the pic or something you applied to the paint, but the hood paint looks a tad bit different from that on the rest of the car?? Just me?
