ok i got in an accident a few months back no biggie got a replacement door. So my car is a 99 xle really nice smooth nothing wrong but this damn replacement door off of a 99 LE is making me so damn mad. i replaced everything from my old door that i could, heated mirrors etc.. everything rewired it too. so here is my problem everytime i open my door it makes a popping noise like on a old civic or somthing, its not quiet and i cant get it to go away. i even pulled the door apart again and replaced the latch from my old door to see if that was the problem but to no avail. PLEASE if anyone knows something that i may be overlooking or not thinking of i could use your help. *side note* i really have to shut the door hard for it to close all the way.
thanks for any input you all may have for me

Check the door stay open part. I forgot whats it;s called. It;s the part from the door to the frame between the hinges. The skinny rod. After I replaced the door on my '96. the SAME thing happened. It turned out that screw that holds that part onto the frame, was ever so so so slightly loose. So when the door was opened or closed, the part would slide between the screw and the frame, making that noise.

...well is the door hitting the fender...my brothers acura rl does that and makes a pop noise each time, i fixed it temporarily, lol. cause it came back later.
open it slowly while observing the door, until the pop noise is made, and then repeat the pop noise until you track the trouble. maybe someone can help on that.
thats another odd thing there is plenty of space between the fender and the other door. the only thing i can really think of is the door hinge is bent some but i cant tell from looking at it.

well to me it looks like it is leaning more, but i honestly cant remember how low the old door sat before i was in the wreck. today i tried what ASG14 said still kept happening. i pulled off the interior panel for about the 6th time and listened and watched from the inside while closing the door and opening. the only thing i can up up with is the latch which doesn't make sense cause its still good. when it was in the old door i had no problems even when it was wrecked
and DEE where was the bolt if you remember by any chance.
