throttle body

Whats up guys im looking to buy a bigger throttle body for my 3rd gen 4 cylinder camry any ideas from what car it could fit and from where i can buy one?

Well the TB helps me get air in the engine. Got another question though since im getting a nice tax return i wanna turbo my car but i dont wanna turbo the 5sfe so im looking for an engine swap what do u guys recommend?

well yes, thank you for the lesson on that. your best bet is gonna be to search the threads here, celica and MR2 forums for info on turboing...and upgradign your TB. im not sure how much your tax return is but expect at least a few grand if your plannin on swappin and then turboing.

but as chris crash said...the V6 is prolly the easiest and cheapest swap for the most power and potential. your other option is the 3sgte which would definatly be more(check out richierichJP's project). keep in mind also you cant jsut swap the engine ull need a different tranny as well...more money.

isnt the 3sgte engine an all wheel drive engine? and what tranny would you recommend and the money thing is not a problem i have a buddy of mine that will hook me up cheap

Umm, i think what you want to do is use the search button on Mr2oc.com.
Gt4 celica AWD has the 3sgte
Mr2 RWD has the 3sgte,
And e153(tranny) out of 92-93v6 cam or es300
OR e153 from 97-01v6 camry or solara

You can do it just search, and fill your mind with Knowledge.

dont waste money on a bigger throttle body for a car that youre gonna swap anyways ...

plus just throwing a larger throttle body on a stock 5S-FE with no head work will do you no good
