Leather Dye

Hello guys, Iwas looking at the interior of the camry I just got (99 xle V6) And the interior is quite boring. What sucks the most is that the previous owner slapped on burlwood dash trim pieces...would have been better if the interior was tan, but it's like cadet blue....eeeewwww!

Ok, The biggest mod I am trying to do interior-wise is to dye the leather seats. Has anyone on here done it? And if so what was the result?

I have spent most of my waking hours researching this and two things stand before me and my destination.
1. Would the stock leather absorb leather dye, if so, any specific kind that I need to get?

2. Can I actually undress my seats, so that I can easily dye the leather without staining other parts?

Here's what it looks like...

I can live with this color combo....

But this is where I wanna be....

Any positive inputs with be appreciated. Or better still point me in the right direction...I would go...

Thanks for your time and input.

your best bet would to remove the leather from your seats and take it to a shop (upholstery or related) and have them re-finish your leather..

most likely you have Pigmented leather which is durable, will not scratch easily and of course it is colored.
