3rd Generation 93 Camry Acceleration Improvment?

Are there any easy methods or parts available for improving the performance of the Camry XLE V6? This thing is a bit of a dog until the RPMs are pretty high, then it sort of takes off until the transmision upshifts, then the slow acceleration starts over again.

advance the timing, suspension (a lot of money for minimal gain) or a transmission swap.....that one usually does the trick

What's the mileage on it? Ever gave it a tune-up? Change spark plugs, spark wires, change coolant, change transmission oil, and change motor oil. Check the timing on the car, advance the throttle cable...etc.

well your lucky since your motor(3vz-fe) can squeez a little power out fairly easily. thinkgs liek enlarging and reworking teh Y-pipe, highflow cat, a tuner and a tune can free up some ponies. however the 3vz usually has more power down low so you may want to perform a tunup if ya havnt already. also check these out.

The car has about 60K on it. At 40K I had to replace the valve cover gaskets. It's a V6, so while I had the engine half dismantled I replaced the spark plugs, timing belt, and camshaft seals. Not much else since then, other than routine maintenance and oil changes and such.
