Question Help!!!

I just bought a 99 corolla, and i was going to spend today cleaning up the camry for sale. the car has not been started in 4-5 days and when i went to start it, the motor struggled to turn over and then the alarm started going off. Now it won't even try to turn over. the hazard lights randomly start going on and off. i have NO idea what to do.

Any ideas?

sorry for the late reply. i got it started. the reason i was so confused was that other than the initial struggle it did not act like the battery was dead. EVERYTHING worked. even when jumping it i had nothing. its just that since the alarm randomly started going off the car wouldnt even TRY to turn over. turn key and NOTHING (i didn't even know the alarm "worked". i assumed it had one when i bought it because of the red led in the dash but the wires to it had been cut so i left it at that. after some research on this fateful day i then learned it was a dealer installed system and and thats what the random switch under the dash was. haha) i learned i should try toggling this switch since dealer alarms will cut power to the starter if they are threatened. so after the flipping of this switch i still got nothing and a i finally humbled myself and prayed. lo and behold God made the car struggle to turn over again, this time with no alarm. wait a few for the battery to juice up and bam. fired right up.

so it was a combination of a faulty alarm and a low battery.

this car needs alot and thats why im selling it.

thanks for the input!
