Crooked Camry???

I have a 93 Camry XLE V6 , I recently took it for a wheel alignment because it didnt drive complete in a straight line , It always needed a little turn of the steering wheel to go straight when driving. Car never in an accident.no suspension issues and guest what... it is still not perfectly straight..almost but not quite..The guy at the shop says many camrys of that year has that issue..Has anyone heard about that?

I think your alignment guy was bs'ing you. I took my car after I did my suspension to firestone and they said I needed camber kit and said my frame was bent. What was worse, they charged me just for putting my car on the lift and letting the lasers check out my current specs. So in the end, I took it to an independent shop called Mach One and they aligned everything. I did hit my right front end but it wasn't that bad to where the frame was bent.

They just have to re-center the steering wheelm which is usually part of a front end alignment AFAIK. On my '84 I had to hold the wheel at 40 degrees to make the car go straight for a while until I re-centered.

Check for any bent or worn out sespension parts......but that should be done by the person doing the alignment in the 1st place.

I'm certainly no alignment expert, but that's a pretty ridiculous statement.

Lol. Your mechanic is full of crap. He needs to learn how to do his job, Camry's don't have a 'crooked' issue.
That's like saying the Ford Edsel was more reliable than the Camry.
