Here is a combo

I actually have a similar problem.

The window goes down fine, but will only go up inching along with periodic pauses. I am wondering if the return (up) contact points on the master switch is shot?

take the door apart and see whats going on. i'd probably just buy a motor/regulator combo since it doesnt cost that much more.

I'm certain that there are combos on ebay for a 96 as well. Just do a quick search. Like mentioned above, I would pull the door aprat first to evaluate what is going on.
