4th Generation Swapping Stock Radio Compatibility

Hi, This is my first post here.

I have a 98 LE and have the radio/cassette single din combo. It looks like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-99...fAudioQ5fVideo

I found a 99 camry LE part out that has a nicer cd/radio/cassette and doesnt have the little shelf under it. I think it looks like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOT...fAudioQ5fVideo

Has anyone done a swap like this or know if its possible? The camry I can get the radio out of has tweeters in the door and mine doesnt. I hear theres a factory amp in the ones with the tweeters? I looked around for the amp in my 98 but couldent find it.

Will the connections match up and if i do need to run the factory amp how hard would it be to wire it up?

If the car has an amp it may be behind the passengers side upper kick panel.

I just swapped these radios and they swap perfectly fine. The 99 LE with tweeters in the door doesnt have an amp so it was a simple swap that took 20 min. The connectors match up its just a simple bolt in. If your also in there you can change the bulbs behind the AC controls. Theres 2 #74 bulbs. Just an FYI the ones I got at autozone were a soso squeeze inside the socket so I would try getting them somewhere else.

Thanks for the replies guys.
