hahaha i was gonna say you could always ask the dude at the autoparts store but yes it is 4 for an i4. well tech i believe its 3.8 but 4 is fine

3.8 is correct for the 5SFE engine (with the oil filter), but most of us just put in 4 quarts. This is fine, especially if you let it hot drain for a while before refilling.
