sorry i haven't been around , have been attempting to finish school. any way i just got home and it is apparently the first time in months my car has been started any way she started right up to my surprise , the only thing is the radio , clock ,horn , lights in the door or roof and also that noise you get when the key is in the ignition does not work. i have checked all fuses and i do mean all , even when i went to get an oil change i asked the guy to test them and he did and they all work , so i have no ideal the cigarette lighter works the dash lights up every thing else works but those thing i have listed above , the guy at the gas station said he could look deeper for a cost of 100 an hour am only home for a week mooching off mom so i don't have that money so can any one help please thanks in advance
the only thing is the radio , clock ,horn , lights in the door or roof
all this stuff doesnt work?
did you check fuses? re-check and swap a few (with correct fuse rating)
also there's 3-4 additional fuse (green and pink ones) just above the fuse box (on the inside)
you have to take off the panel under the steering column (four 10mm bolts)
i came across one blown before that caused the windows and moon roof not to work
okay i did what you said and their do not seem to be any blown ones there either man i really dont know and would the radio horn clock internal light run off the same fuse ? cus when i have had one blown the radio/cigarette lighter did not work which they were on the same fuse
edit
yes all of those do not work, i will right now but i did check to make shore it was the correct number on each of them, i also did see those , i only did a visual inspection to see if the wire inside was broken and from the look of it they were not thanks for you help so far
wow that what my boy told me today that it could be a fusible link ,to answer your question the hazards work / wiper and the engine runs great , where are the fusible link are they those black square next to the fuses
Fusible links are short sections of metal enclosed in very small plastic boxes. They are mounted in the engine compartment near the inner fender, etc to allow access. The top of the box opens to allow inspection.
The metal section can burn through (melt) or corrode to the point it no longer makes a circuit. Burn through it obvious, corrosion to the point of failure takes a closer look.
The Dome fuse comes off the same circuit as the horn fuse and Hazard lights. Thus stange the lights are getting power but the Dome not.
The Cig/Radio circuit is a separate switch (ACC switch inside the ign switch.
The AutoZone websites Vehicle Repair guides may have a wiring diagram for this car.
The car has fuse a fuse box behind the drivers side ash tray.
For a Gen3, the interior fuse box is behind the penny compartment, to the left of the steering wheel, the little thing that comes out like a little storage compartment. It's a bit tricky to get off sometimes..

yes they do(ASG14) .....umm okay a little up date today i was driving and it was wet and the light a radio came in a out a few time , so i think it because of the skirt in the wheel well on the driver side an huge chunk of it is missing so am gonna take the fender off tomorrow and clean it and see if i can get one at the junk yard that should solve some parts of it i think , o and when i had turn the lights off they did not go off and thier was a buzzing noise coming form the fuse box so i pulled it out and the head lights went off so am gonna take another look in the morning
The Integration relay is a large box on the front of the fuse block. Like 2"x3", usually black or light blue in color. You have to have the bottom panel off on the dash to get to it. It controls the lighting for the car, as well as the door chime (which is actually in the integration relay I think).
But whats REALLY getting me is the radio and clock are on a different circuit, but when those go out, the Cig lighter should go out as well. The thing that ties the clock and radio together (just those 2 things), are they have the constant power wire for memory when the car is off.
As for the horn, I am beyond lost.....
Are you sure you did not cross any wires or anything since the last time you started it?

okay so here is the deal the left skirt in the front because it was gone and i have been driving it it seem as if water got into the wire so after getting the skirt and drying the wire every thing works just fine other than the horn which i think i know why it does not work , it also is apparent that the car was hit on that side before also
