Visual mod: need opinions or suggestions

sup guys. ive been toying with the idea of painting the black trim under the door(rocker pannel, sideskirt...whatever its really called) to match the car. ive photoshoped it, and are lookin for opinions. the only real issues i see in doin this is protecting against chipping due to road debris.

i'd leave it.. i love the way the front looks lower than the rest ov the car- somewhat ov a "touring" appeal.

Paint it but make sure it matches the paint on the car. It wouldn't look good if it's mismatched (in the second pic).

I'd leave it black because if you paint it red, unless your paint job is less than a year old, it would be hard to perfectly match the paint. I would suggest putting on a clear coat for protection. Also, I think the black matches your black-on-red outfit.

Looks good painted. If you're worried about chipping the paint, you can use color matched truck bed liner instead of paint.

I would leave it black but would go over it with the black chip-guard paint.
