4th Generation bad suspension?

hey guys i have a 1998 camry with 115,000 miles on it, when i am driving on the street and hit any crack or any sort of road imperfection, my car shakes....could this be a problem with the springs? I already changed the shocks btw. the ride on my 2003 4runner is smoother than the camry at this point.

it feels like the whole car shakes, and yes they have been checked...the ride is just not smooth anymore, over well paved roads it is just fine

springs rarely wear out to a point it causes the symptoms you describe, because they are always under compression.

Check mounts, struts and bushings.

Yeah, remove & replace the stabilizer bar links. I had this monstrous shaking whenever I went over anything and after replacing those links (easy & cheap, too!) everything was smooth and sweet.

I got some aftermarket ones at Pep Boys, but get the Japanese made ones; the U.S. made ones are too loose. You shouldn't be able to move the bolts in the links by hand.
