I'm no pro at painting myself but that's not too bad man...little hard to tell from the pics though. just make sure you put a coat or two of clear coat on it.

good enough for the first part!

2) wet sand 800 grit.

3) spray clear.

4) wet sand 1000 grit.

5) spray clear.

6) behold what $400 worth of savings/elbow grease/ some balls can do for your car!

$25 for clear, maybe $10-15(or way less, lol) for sandpaper.

IT'S DUPLI-COLORS, "PAINT SHOP SYSTEM.

it lays out very nice, has no repaint time limit, you spray the color on it and like a week later spray the next coat of the color.

i's v.o.c compliant so legal to use, buy a HVLP spray guns(has 65% efficiency, so wasted less paint then conventional spray guns "HVLP guns save you money) they're pricey though.

get charcoal respirator masks, make sure it fits by doing the positive a negative test(block the exhale part, and blow if mask gets fat/ expands with out letting air out right fit, block the inhale part and inhale if it collapses and lets no air in it fits).

buy yourself some goggles(you wouldn't want the paint or air to hit your eyes would you).

and pretty much have a compressor, lol.

edit: and on diy, i'll try to make one but i'm not a person to take instructions from.
