3rd Generation trying to go with the turbo

I've been looking for a S/C for awhile and really can't find one. So ive decided to go with the turbo. But already running to difficulties. The engine bay just has a lot of stuff in it. How am I going to relocate the battery and the turbo piping is just going to be a small problem. If anyone can tell me the bends will be greatly appreciated. I'm going to have to do a lot of test fitting.

you just have to do a lot of test fitting unfortunately.... the v6 engine bay is pretty tight. definitely relocate the battery to the trunk to make room for your intake side stuff... the piping down the center for the y-pape/up pipe and the downpipe is pretty tight... not really room for 3" piping... 2.5 is even tight... i believe there are some pics floating around of my v6 turbo that ran briefly before an oil leak...

little room is right as zoni said. ya may want to hit up tony the tiger, hes become a master of turboing the V6 and could anwser prolly anything as long as youve done your reaserch. from what ive seen several people test fit using simi-rigid dryer tubing and that has worked for them. alot harder then the S/C thats for sure. you can get that fully installed and running in about an hour if ya know what to do. i think asg14s record was 30 mins.

hacking up your y-pipe is the easiest idea, but if you want space and you're handy with a welder- do what tony did and pick up a set of cheapo obx headers for the exhaust manifold flanges and then hack it up and do side-winder exhaust headers

but yah...dont' really see anybody being able to doing that other than him that's a lot of time there....and a lot of skill....and a lot of money if you can't do it yourself
