This is mainly for the supercharged folks - have you burned through the stock (or TRD) EGR piping on your car?

wtf? I don;t think thats possible......Never heard of anyone doing that.

Mine's burned through both sections of the convoluted (accordian-type) tubing on the short piece from the JP headers to the egr cooler, AND on the upper trd egr pipe. It was that way when I bought the car from Tiem, and he'd already blocked off the EGR at both ends, and so I'm gonna have to have some new pieces custom made. It looked like someone twisted the flexible accordian section of each pipe and just ripped it wide open. It's got soot showing that it must have been a hell of an exhaust leak before it was plugged.

I still have the stock egr pipe for both halves, but both will have to be hacked up to make new pipes. Is the convoluted section supposed to cool down or slow down the flow of the exhaust gasses coming from the rear header?
