I have a 2001 Camry LE 4 cyl. engine, auto trans. with 68,000 miles. Periodically the engine will smoother down and vibrate when it comes to a stop. After accelerating to highway speed or stopping and letting the engine cool for a while the problem goes away. This may happen again the next day or it may not happen for 2 months. The technician at the Toyota dealership could not find a trouble code and said that several things could be causing this problem. Any one having this problem?

My first guess would be a dirty idle air control valve. Clean your throttle body with some spray throttle body cleaner or O2 safe carb cleaner, paying particular attention to spraying the cleaner liberally down in to the square or diamond shaped port in the base of the throttle body. That port leads to the idle air control valve. Here is a good DIY post with pictures on how to do it:
