3rd Generation Front Window Defog not working?

It was raining pretty badly here and my front windows wouldn't defog at all but my rear's were working. I couldnt feel any air comming out of the vents near the windshield. Any solutions? The lights for the defog settings works

Yeah! what's up with that... I guess it's a design flaw.

I'm at my second 3rd gen and I have had the "problem" on the two. I mean it defogs, but I've seen better

Check to make sure you can switch settings. If you don't see it or feel it switch settings, either your motor is bad or a linkage is loose. I had the same problem and got it fixed right up. When I set it to defog, I have to move it off that setting quick (on rotary controls) for it to disengage. You might have the opposite problem, try setting it to leg vents only, and quickly set it over to defog.
If it is engaging, is there a loud pop?

Mine fogs unless I turn the A/C on also with the defog even in winter. I think that it is because the Cam is so air tight that humidity builds up quickly.
