Sorry, I'm such a noob, but is the new location less susceptible to false spark knock detection? Thanks

Rob, to be honest...... no idea

The knock sensor is installed a bit further from the cylinders than the original location, so less sensitive from the knocks.
But closer to the S/C and the fuel injectors...so maybe some false knock detection.

The advantage is that this location is easy to access and i can use the original wire....no solder.
And if i blow this one, i can replace it in 1 minute.

If someone thinks this is a realy bad location, please let me know.

I gotta ask though... what are those two little boxes with hoses going to each cylinder bank? couldn't follow the hoses so i'm not sure what they are. Don't look like injector feeds since the fuel rails are still installed. also doesn't look like the right kind of hose for nitrous, so i'm at a loss...

I would think that since these are also pressurized gasses (usually used on diesel, not gasoline engines) they would need similar fittings to n2o. am i wrong?

is he using LP/CNG as just a cooling agent or as the only fuel?

oh ya and to the OP - are you running off one knock sensor with a jumper wire or do you have both of them mounted somewhere?

I am running on LPG. (i only start on petrol)

The black boxes are gas the injectors.

The LPG Fuel computer picks up the fuel injector signal and translate this to a Gas injector signal.
You can see the hoses cross each other because the person who has installed the LPG installation have made a mistake.
This summer i hope to correct this and cleanup everything

Yes i used a jump wire........ before i killed the second knocksensor.
After i killed the second knocksensor, i was planning to replace both knocksensors and delete the jump wire.
But have done other wise and save one knocksensor ....and have one in spare

Many people ask me what car i drive....i love it.....(everyone is so german car minded here. (Audi/BMW/Opel/etc..)

I am the only one in Europe that is driving a 1mzfe with s/c....that is realy cool

This is the one i got:
http://www.webshop.luccio.nl/E_frame..._E_art_25.html

But you can better buy this one:
http://www.vialle.nl/home.html?L=1

Same price.....but this system is inject not in gas form but in liquefied form.
So this will create a intercooler effect.
