im looking for advice on a suspension setup that will tuck my tires a bit. currently running LS400 oem rims 16x7 with a tire size of 50. coilovers are too much (college student ), so im leaning towards a spring a strut combination that will get me low enough to at least tuck the tire in about half an inch...would added camber help? ive searched and have not found any camber kits for gen 3's.
mahalo
haha
another question:is there any way to fix a slow leak on your own? or should i bring it to a tire shop?
well the lowest drop is about 1.8 and that would tuck it a little but the camber wont change a whole lot. drop zone, sprint and this brand(http://app.infopia.com/Shop/Control/...1126/SFV/32526) who one members was excited about will provid a fairly significant drop. jsut make sure you are using tokico shocks to prevent bottoming out and sagging.
if you want to go low enough to tuck tires, coilovers are your best bet (as long as you are willing to sacrifice ride quality) ... that was my stance for a while, tucking tread all around:
but yes, those springs are known around here for sagging ... the only springs ive seen that really mimic that stance i posted are the Tenzo's that Rdizzle had and sold to LazyAccent

i cant remember where i read it.. but since you have a v6 you should be able to get I4 struts with I4 springs and it should drop it. not sure how much drop tho...
also i think the tokicos should help to drop it a little more

it honestly looks great. What kind of coilovers do you have? k-sports?
dont do that. thasts a horrible idea. soft springs + softer shocks = a squishy ride and plenty of chances to bottom out...and it wont even come close to a tuck.
tenzos would be better, and tokico shocks. OEM will have too much bound andf your likely to bottom out over speed bumps and they will ware out the springs faster.
No way you can get that low with springs/struts, unless you modify them or something. At that point, I'd just go with a set of coilovers that can drop it that low. Your other option would be to bag it like TheKevin said. If you have enough money, then get CO's and bag it.
